Peter the Pointer
Saw it in today's Star that he's been linked wae the Killie job.
I was really gutted at the way it ended for him here, he would have been hurting as much as us as he is a diehard - Celtic to the Core.
Good luck to him if he gets it.

Always liked him.
Felt sorry for him, much more than Mowbray.
Is it true he and Lenny didn’t get on?

Re: Peter the Pointer
I remember Grant as being a bit of an arrogant cunt, well so my brother says who drank with him in years gone by, so I would imagine he wasn't Lenny's type of person if that was the case.
Thats all conjecture however. . .I dont know if it was the case at all

Re: Peter the Pointer
a very limited footballer but he complemented McStay well. a celtic man through and through who never gave less than 100%.
best of luck to him. he didn't look like the same man under Mowbray, the Pointer standing in silence on the touchline didn't look right.

I was shocked to see who subdued he appeared to be.
Macca was on Real Radio the day after Mowbray was sacked saying ‘Peter was limited, he wears his heart on his sleeve but wasn’t allowed to do so’

Re: Peter the Pointer
i used to have a poster of Grant on my wall and you can see the determination and desire in his face. he would have run through walls for Celtic.
i think the huns might have tried to burn down his maw's house once, might be wrong though.

Aye me too seeing as he would have run through brick walls for the Celtic cause as Clagan says.
Apparently Grant felt threatened by Lenny's presence hence Lenny being barred from the team bus. And yous are right, something was certainly odd there since he would do fuck all on the touchline, I suspect McAvennie was right and that Mowbray tried to stop him from coming across as passionate.

Re: Peter the Pointer
I heard it was Mowbray who didn’t want Lenny on the bus.
Didn’t know it was anything to do with Peter the pointer…
I always assumed Lenny and Granty would have got on quite well for some reason.
